Songs from In Ten Thousand Places, Where Hillis Meets Hopkins
My second album, released in 2014 and recorded very quickly by me in my parents' basement, was a collection of settings of poems by Gerard Manley Hopkins. After writing one of them back in 2012, I suddenly found myself writing the other six songs almost out of the blue as summer turned to autumn of 2014. The album was released on December 1 of that year.
